SIFF pushes ahead to the second-to-last weekend of the 44th annual festival, capping a busy week of guest appearances, North American and World Premieres, with the weekend Centerpiece Gala screening of Boots Riley's Sorry To Bother You on June 2.

THE DRUMMER AND THE KEEPER | 93 Minutes - From Ireland, The Drummer and the Keeper, sharing the story of a drummer in a rock band, rocked by a diagnosis of bipolar disorder. As he struggles to come to terms with his condition, he becomes friends with a 17-year-old, recently diagnosed with Asperger's Syndrome.

LEAVE NO TRACE | 108 Minutes - Debra Granik's new film (Winter's Bone) stars Ben Foster as a former soldier, wrestling with PTSD, who lives far "off the grid" in the Pacific Northwest with his teenage daughter (Thomasin McKenzie). When their lives are interrupted and they are forced to re-enter society with the help of a guidance counselor, life takes on a completely different meaning for father and daughter.

NONA | 90 Minutes - A searing, visceral drama, Nona tells the story of a Honduran woman who falls for a man, who is headed to the United States. Nona joins him with the hopes of reconnecting with her mother, however she soon finds herself caught up in a journey that she never anticipated possible.

RUST | 100 Minutes - A girl's missing cell phone changes the lives of a number of high school students in Rust, a Brazilian film that becomes a sobering, cautionary tale of school dynamics, politics, and bullying in the age of social media and smartphones.

SUPA MODO | 74 Minutes - If you see it, you cannot forget it. Supa Modo tells the story of a young girl, faced with a terminal illness, who has her community rally around her and give her the dream she has of being a real-life superhero.
